This workshop is a unique chance to learn from and be inspired by Maëlick Claes (IG: @reiterlied), a talented toy photographer. He’ll introduce you to the toy photography scene and talk about the process of making a good photo. In the practical part of the workshop, which (weather permitting) will take place outdoors, he’ll guide you in making the same magic yourself! Please wear shoes that don’t get wet too easily and pants that are ok to get dirty.
Your gear or experience level in photography don’t matter. You can show up with a smartphone or with a DSLR, and you can be a beginner or a professional. Although a selection of toys will be provided, be sure to bring the toy (or figure, miniature, etc) that you own and of which you have always dreamed to take a photograph. And even if toys aren’t your ‘muse’, don’t let this opportunity pass. This workshop is about story-telling by images, photography in general and inspiration.
To see what it’s all about, take a look at Maëlick’s work on his his website or Stuck in Plastic (the collective of creative photographers he’s part of).
The language of this workshop is English.
